Our History
Gamma Industries is a family-run business, founded by men and women committed to serving their customers. We place great importance on business integrity, respect for human relations within the company, high-quality workmanship, innovation, the continuous improvement of our products and processes, and the preservation of the environment.
Creation of Gamma Industries
Joseph Versino, an engineer, founds Gamma Industries, an industrial metalwork company based in Issy les Moulineaux, France.
The french production plant
Construction of the company’s first production plant in Formerie (Oise department, northern France)
Launch of manufacturing operations for panels and pedestals
1st major project
1st major project – The Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris (50,000m2)
Development
The company wins several major construction contracts in La Défense district of Paris
Expansion
Acquisition of Steel Systèmes (raised floors) in France
Christian Versino
Our founder retires
Christian Versino takes over the reins of the company at his father Joseph’s retirement
European Standards
The company actively contributes to the development of European standard EN 12825, followed by DTU 57.1.
Expansion
Acquisition of Denco Technologies (raised floors) in France
Restructuring
The company participates to many so-called “green” projects and meets the requirements of HQE, LEED, BREAM, DGNB standards, etc.
Restructuring
Gamma and Denco Technologies merge and production is centralised at the Formerie factory
Change in management
François Rosen takes over the company at Christian Versino’s retirement
